Timing is Everything; It separates the good from the great

Have you ever received everything you asked for and more? Have you ever realized once you got it, you didn’t know what to do with it? Heck, did you ever step back and think “I’m not even ready for this?”

In life, we can hope and wish for things. Sometimes we even pray so much that when things do not happen when we want them to, eventually we give up. Then we least expect it,

It seems like finally, we have what we have been asking for. However, sometimes we get everything we asked for in life and more, just to realize that we are not really prepared for what having that something entails. When we are passionate about having something and desire it, we will chase after it. However, sometimes when we find and get what we were looking for we cannot fully accept and appreciate because we rushed into it.

There is an age-old saying,

“Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it.”

Well, it seems as when we get older that statement becomes truer and clearer. This week’s encouragement is simple, Let life happen as it should.

We become so impatient and want things when we want them sometimes. Eventually, we get those things and are not fully equipped for them because we were impulsive and so quick. Now do not get it twisted. Not by any means am I saying not to have aspirations, expectations or dreams, but don’t be so overbearing and pushy. Sometimes the more control we try to have over things, the more uncontrol things get. If something is supposed to happen it will authentically; naturally.

Hopefully, when it does happen you will be fully ready and prepared to handle all of what you asked for and more. So, live life, love fully and remember to smile because if it is meant for you, it will be yours. You will not have to beg, pry or chase for what is yours. Plus, you cannot rush greatness, so let the cards fall where they may.
